David Leonhardt, President & Owner Mr. Leonhardt first started in this industry over 25 years ago when his brother, Doug, and he were successful in opening Douglas Leonhardt & Associates, Inc. in Charlotte, North Carolina. The two brothers quickly grew their company into one of the largest distributors and fabricators of fire protection products in the southeast. Douglass Leonhardt & Associates was successful in expanding into new markets with branches in Tampa, Atlanta, Charlotte, and Nashville. During his time working with his brother during the late 1980’s and 1990’s, David was fortunate to have met many of his friends and business relationships that he has today. David retired and left the fire sprinkler industry in the late 1990’s to fulfill his lifelong dream of owning a farm in South Carolina. David was fortunate enough to live this dream and today still enjoys escaping to his property in South Carolina. In 2004 David Leonhardt decided it was time to return to the industry and incorporated Leonhardt Pipe & Supply.
Leonhardt Pipe & Supply, Inc. Leonhardt Pipe & Supply ironically started on Mr. Leonhardt’s farm in South Carolina; the very first order was delivered by David in the back of his truck. The company has grown tremendously in the first few years from just two employees to staff of over thirty. Leonhardt Pipe & Supply now boasts an office, warehouse, shipping, sales, stocklisting, and fabrication staff. The company’s first office was located in the Huntersville, North Carolina area and the original staff of two worked out of Mr. Leonhardt’s residence. Leonhardt Pipe & Supply now has a much larger office with a Sales Department, Stocklisting Department, and Customer Service Department. The company currently has inside and outside sales team members and services Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, Tennessee, Maryland, and D.C.
Leonhardt Pipe & Supply is a family owned and operated company and believes in service both before and after the sale. As a master distributor and fabricator of fire protection and fire sprinkler products we are pleased to share our products, services, and market knowledge with you. Because we are a distributor and fabricator we are capable of servicing all your supply and custom fabrication needs from the manufacturer's floor to your jobsite location.
