Text Box: David Leonhardt, President & Owner Mr. Leonhardt first started in the fire protection industry over 30 years ago. David and his brother Douglas were successful in opening a new fire protection company in Charlotte, NC; Douglas Leonhardt & Associates. The two brothers quickly grew the company into one of the largest distributors and fabricators of fire protection products in the southeast. Douglass Leonhardt & Associates was successful in expanding into new territories with branch openings in Tampa, Atlanta, and Nashville. While working with his brother during the late 1980’s and during the 1990’s, David was fortunate to have met many of his friends and business acquaintances that he has today. David retired and left the fire sprinkler industry in the late 1990’s to fulfill his lifelong dream of owning a farm in South Carolina. He is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys working on his South Carolina farm in his free time. In 2004, David Leonhardt returned to the fire protection industry with the incorporation of Leonhardt Pipe & Supply, Inc.   Leonhardt Pipe & Supply, Inc. Leonhardt Pipe & Supply ironically started on David Leonhardt’s farm in South Carolina. The very first order was delivered by David in the back of his pickup truck. The company has grown tremendously over the years. Leonhardt Pipe & Supply now boasts an office, warehouse, shipping, sales, stock listing, and fabrication staff. Leonhardt Pipe & Supply opened its fabrication facility in 2007 and has fabricated materials for projects such as: the Nascar Hall of Fame, the Epicentre, the Ritz Carlton (Charlotte), the Duke Energy One Tower, the Vue, the Bank of America Tower, and many more. We currently have an inside sales staff located in Huntersville, NC and outside sales staff servicing Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, Tennessee, Maryland, and D.C.   Leonhardt Pipe & Supply is a family owned and operated company and believes in service both before and after the sale. As a master distributor and fabricator of fire protection and fire sprinkler products we are pleased to share our products, services, and market knowledge with you.
